Effective June 24, 2022, Farm Credit Mid-America and Farm Credit Midsouth have signed a letter of intent to merge. The combined association would operate under the name Farm Credit Mid-America and continue with an aligned purpose to secure the future of rural communities and agriculture.

Together we would continue to serve customers across Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas and Missouri.

We are committed to putting our customers at the heart of everything we do throughout this process and will provide updates via this page.

    You will not likely see a change on day-to-day interactions and transactions.

  • Will this impact my patronage?

    Farm Credit Mid-America and Farm Credit Midsouth are both financially strong associations, and as cooperatives, are committed to the patronage model. While we cannot guarantee future patronage distributions, the Boards of Directors for both associations are committed to maintaining a strong patronage program.

  • Will I be able to vote on the merger?

    All eligible stockholders of both associations will be able to vote on the merger. This includes Rural 1st customers who have voting stock. Information with specifics on the process will be communicated to stockholders prior to the vote.

  • When can you give me more details?

    We will share information as it becomes available.
