Whitehead and her family run a family farming operation, raising corn, soybeans, wheat, hay and straw and contract grow pigs from weaning to finish. Her children are the 4th
generation on the farm. She is responsible for the financial accounts, planting the soybeans and is very active in the day-to-day work in the hog operation. Whitehead received an Associate Degree in Science and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky. She is 66 years old.
