Purdue University

Working to advance and shape the future of agriculture and those who depend on it

Purdue University’s College of Agriculture is among the world’s top research and teaching institutions in the field of agriculture. From its founding as a land-grant school, pledging to advance agriculture and engineering, to today, Purdue has played a significant role in improving the livelihoods of people — both farmers and consumers — in Indiana, throughout the Midwest and around the world.

Our longstanding commitment to Purdue continues to grow as the university finds new and innovative ways to promote the health and vibrancy of rural America and shape the next generation of agricultural leaders. We are proud to be a named donor to the state-of-the-art Agricultural and Life Sciences Facility, opening in 2017, and to support major annual conferences, scholarships, and internship programs. Beyond financial support, we serve the College of Agriculture — both as Farm Credit Mid-America employees and, in many cases, alums — as mentors, guest speakers, advisors and committee members. Additionally, we are one of the founding partners for the Center for Commercial Agriculture and continue to serve on the Industry Council. Purdue University is moving all of agriculture forward, and we are proud to be a part of that.
