Bill Johnson

President and Chief Executive Officer

Bill became president and CEO in March 2011. He comes to Farm Credit from AgriBank of St. Paul, where he was executive vice president – business services. He has a 30-year career within the Farm Credit System, starting as a credit analyst in Huntingburg, Indiana, and then accepting positions in credit and marketing at the Farm Credit Bank of Louisville. In 1990, Bill moved to Northwest Farm Credit Services in Spokane, Washington, serving in a number of capacities, including executive vice president and chief information officer. Bill transferred to Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc., a System-owned technology company, as executive vice president and later as EVP – chief risk and information officer at AgriBank. Bill serves as director for Farm Credit Council Services, University of Evansville Boards of Visitors, and the Local Food Association, a non-profit organization in Louisville. He holds a finance degree from the University of Evansville and an MBA from Gonzaga University.

Steve Allard

Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer

As Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer, Steve leads the credit and appraisal functions for Farm Credit Mid-America. He has more than 35 years of financial services experience within the Farm Credit System, having served in various capacities within the company. Steve began his Farm Credit career as a loan officer in Owensboro, Kentucky before leading a special accounts unit and then serving as Regional Vice President. Most recently, he served as Vice President Credit Analysis, where he implemented unified philosophy and business practices across Farm Credit Mid-America’s approval units. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture economics from the University of Kentucky.

Gordon Hanson

Senior Vice President and Chief Risk Officer

Gordon is responsible for developing and leading the Risk Management department and coordinating enterprise-wide risk management activities. Prior to joining Farm Credit Mid-America in January 2014, he served the Farm Credit Administration for almost 28 years in various capacities, with the last seven years as the agency’s credit risk program manager. He also previously managed a farming operation in Colorado. Gordon has a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from North Dakota State University, and completed the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a commissioned Federal Bank Examiner and a Certified Financial Planner.

Heather Vidourek

Senior Vice President Human Capital

Heather leads talent management including recruitment, organizational development, human resources, and marketing. She began her Farm Credit career in 1997 as a recruitment specialist, later served as director of training and development, followed by vice president human resources. Heather graduated with a bachelor's in agricultural communications from the University of Kentucky and obtained her masters of education degree from University of Louisville with a focus on organizational development. She has since earned a Certificate in Essentials of Human Resource Management. Heather’s agricultural experience began in her youth through 4-H and FFA, and has continued throughout her education and career. In 2000, she was named Outstanding Young Alumnus in the University of Kentucky’s College of Agriculture. She currently serves on the Farm Credit Foundations Trust Committee, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce Council and the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation board.

Keith Lane

Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer

Keith leads the retail, consumer, agribusiness and capital markets lending divisions for Farm Credit Mid-America. He also leads the insurance services division. He began his career with Farm Credit in 1977, serving in various positions throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, including leadership positions in credit, business development, real estate appraisal, and special assets. Keith is a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications.

Dan Wagner

Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer

Dan leads the financial operations, loan accounting, information technology, business process support and strategic project management functions at Farm Credit Mid-America. He began his career with the Farm Credit System at Farm Credit Services of America in Omaha, NE in 1998 as a software developer. Dan left the System for a period of time working for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and IBM Global Services, and then rejoined Farm Credit Services of America in 2004. He then accepted various technology leadership positions and became the Chief Technology Officer in 2008. He joined Farm Credit Mid-America in June 2012 as Senior Vice President Chief Information Officer. He graduated from Chadron State College with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and information management systems and he obtained his MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Nebraska.
